About your translator
Hi, my name is Christa, and I believe that one of the small joys in life is the pleasure of reading
a well-designed page.
I studied the arts in college, with a focus on international and intercultural exchange. As part of a course in Dutch art, I got a taste of exhibition design, and was enamored with museum studies ever since. After college, I worked in libraries and museums while earning my Master's in Library and Information Science with a concentration in rare books. I decided to become a translator to support my love of travel.
Some of my favorite works of art:
The Siyah Qalam folios (in the Topkapi Saray Library, Istanbul)
The Inspiration of Saint Matthew, Caravaggio
Dutch still life in general
